See which sources support each candidate.
Read the alternatives one method at a time. Switch between the Alliance stringent subset and a prepared collection of direct DIOPT queries.
Alliance integrates DIOPT-derived predictions. These datasets overlap; their scores must not be added as independent evidence. A missing mark means support was not reported, not that a method disproved the relationship.

Sources, versions and interpretation
Method columns cover the union reported for this gene's returned candidates. They are not an inventory of every method that might have assessed this species pair. The original score denominator is retained separately and is not recalculated from the visible columns.
DIOPT snapshots are pinned to the version reported in each response. The initial API v9 collection reports dataset 9.1; the documented v10 endpoint returned an application error when checked on 2026-10-20. No silent fallback or v10 label is applied.
Protein and domain alignments remain available at DIOPT. A best-match flag can be shared by tied candidates; it does not establish a unique counterpart or experimental rescue.
JSON exports preserve the active dataset, source receipts and filters. TSV files start
with a # metadata: JSON line, followed by the table; skip comment lines when
importing the table. This retains filter context even when no candidates remain. SVG
exports contain the displayed candidate page.
